Finally the snow came! Winter in Copenhagen

If you are not a scandinavien you might think that we always have frosty winters with lots of  snow in Denmark. The truth is – it is mostly just grey and wet all through the winter. I glance enviously at my swedish and norwegian neighbors frosty photographs. But then suddenly it happens – the snowfall. All the children rush outside with their little sledges and me with my (not so little) camera. Mostly the snow has melted when I am finally off from work but this time it stayed all through the weekend. I went to some of my favourite places a little north of Copenhagen where I live – Dyrehaven and the lake Furesøen to capture a little bit of that winter wonderland.
